To expose every child and teen that attends the  SaMarc Dream and Achieve Foundation's basketball camp to things they have never seen before, to do things they have never done and to go places they have never gone, stimulating them to dream.

OUR mission

The SaMarc Dream and Achieve Foundation is a Georgia non-profit dedicated to serving the community to transform and enlighten the lives of children and teens by instilling in them the desire to strive for all the best life has to offer them. By first securing an education, having a dream, and fostering said dream, we believe, no matter what environment, campers can achieve the best life possible.

A DREAM TO ACHIEVE

What started out as a very close friendship between two Columbus, Georgia natives, Sam Mitchell and Marc Upshaw, has become a dream come true for both. Through the SaMarc Foundation, kids and teens are taught the value of education, dedication, and honesty while being coached by prominent professional athletes.

The SaMarc Dream and Achieve Foundation hosts a non-profit basketball summer camp in Georgia for children and teens to learn from prominent athletes and coaches.Founded by Sam Mitchell and Marc Upshaw, the former NBA basketball player invites special guests to coach and educate the campers on the fundamentals of basketball and importance of hard work, honesty, integrity, and education. Host a non-profit summer basketball camp, basketball award ceremony, and educational tours.
